The Art of the Ocean Crossing

Some journeys invite you to slow down. Trade the rush of arrival for wide horizons, unhurried mornings, and the quiet wonder of life at sea. Together, we’ll find an ocean crossing that feels like your next chapter.

Compass Conversation

Transatlantic

Cross the Atlantic between Europe and the Americas. Some sailings focus on uninterrupted sea days; others weave in island or coastal calls. Choose the route, direction, and time aboard that suit your pace.

Transpacific

Explore the Pacific on a voyage connecting regions such as North America, Asia, or Oceania. Routes and lengths vary widely, often with generous stretches at sea. We’ll review port calls, time-zone changes, and any International Date Line crossing together.

Repositioning

A one-way sailing that moves a ship between operating regions, often with the seasons. It may cross an ocean, but not every repositioning cruise does. Compare the whole journey—including flights, hotels, and onboard extras—rather than the cruise fare alone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at dominique.flores@fora.travel if you cannot find an answer to your question.

A crossing may suit you if you enjoy unhurried days and time to settle into one ship. Look closely at consecutive sea days, onboard activities, and port calls. If you prefer a new destination every day, a more port-focused itinerary may be a better fit.

Inclusions depend on the cruise line and fare. One-way voyages may need separate flight arrangements. We’ll review flights, hotels, transfers, taxes and fees, gratuities, Wi-Fi, drinks, and excursions so you can compare the complete journey.

Many ships offer Wi-Fi packages, but pricing, coverage, and performance vary. Confirm the ship’s current service before relying on video calls or time-sensitive work. Build in offline time and flexibility for sea days and time-zone changes.

Conditions vary by route, season, and day; calm seas and warm weather are never guaranteed. Pack layers and review your ship’s dress guidance. We’ll discuss your comfort with sea days and help you choose an itinerary thoughtfully.
